Our Story
In 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic was at it’s peak and wildfires raged across the state. Needless to say, there wasn’t much going outside or leaving our home during this time.
I began making candles to use around our home and freshen the space and it became a hobby to occupy my time. As the months went by, I had more candles than I could burn or gift to friends! As a result, Goose Candles was born.
I make everything in small batches from our home base in California. To achieve optimal scent and a clean burn*, I utilize phthalate-free fragrances, 100% soy wax blend, and a lead-free cotton wick.
*make sure you regularly trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before each burn
Goose is a 6 year old Yorkie mix who runs our quality control division. Every candle you purchase comes with the Goose Paw-of-Approval!
Goose was rescued off the streets in 2019 where he was found alone, with no tags or microchip. He was balding, covered in a rash that made half his hair fall out. Since then he is happily adjusted to his forever home, sleeping and playing all day with his stuffed chickie and getting all the treats and love from his human pawrents.
